Permission has been granted for Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati’s three-day “Gau-Pratishtha” (Cow-Dignity) Janjagran Abhiyan program in Lucknow, scheduled for March 11th. The permission is subject to 26 conditions. Violation of these conditions will result in the cancellation.
Permission was granted following a meeting of officials late Monday night. Senior police officers and members of the LDA Memorial Committee attended the meeting. The event is scheduled to be held at the cultural site near Pasi Qila intersection in Ashiana.
As a precautionary measure, police have placed forces from Ashiana, PGI, and Krishnanagar police stations on alert. A heavy police presence will also be deployed at the venue. According to sources, the organisers deposited approximately ₹4.50 lakh (approximately $4.5 million) in fees with the Memorial Committee for the three-day event.
Permission has been granted with these 26 conditions:
There will be no inflammatory speeches against religion, caste, sect, or language.
There will be no indecent or hateful language directed at any political/religious figure.
Minor children will not be made to chant controversial slogans.
A limited number of vehicles will be allowed to enter, and traffic will not be disrupted.
No lethal objects other than the traditional flagpole will be allowed.
A memorandum of demands will be submitted to the competent authority.
The organizers will be responsible for any untoward incident.
The organizers will pay for the police force deployed.
Drums, music, and loudspeakers will be prohibited in the silence zone.
Compliance with the traffic and fire department directives is mandatory.
The organizers will obtain the necessary departmental permissions themselves.
There will be no parking on roads or public places.
The standards of the Noise Pollution Rules 2000 will be followed.
Violations will be punishable under the Environmental Protection Act 1986.
There will be no exemption from obtaining other necessary permissions/licenses.
Police instructions will be followed.
Noise levels will not exceed the prescribed limit (maximum 75 decibels).
Fireworks, weapons, and celebratory firing are strictly prohibited.
The pandal will be at least 3 meters high.
Adequate private security personnel will be deployed, and there will be no disorder.
There will be no communal/racial remarks or provocative statements.
Audio broadcasting will be prohibited from 10 pm to 6 am.
The organizers will pay the venue rent and other fees.
COVID-19 guidelines will be followed.
Processions or parades will not be permitted.
Violation of any condition will automatically result in the permission being revoked.
