Congress Expert in Lying: Union Minister Anurag Thakur attacks Congress for spreading fake videos

National: Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting and Youth and Sports Affairs  Anurag Singh Thakur said that Congress, which is expert in lying, is now spreading fear and confusion among the people by making deep fake videos. The inclusion of names of big Congress leaders in this is both shameful and fatal for democracy.

Anurag Thakur said that “Even before the general elections, we knew that the opposition would definitely resort to lies, fear and confusion in view of its certain defeat. Today every big leader of Congress is running his entire election campaign only on the basis of lies.”

He added, “Seeing that there is no change in the defeat even by telling lies, now these people are using technology and deep fakes to spread more confusion and fear. The leaders of Indi Alliance are doing all unethical things to win the elections. After all, what is the point in stooping so low for votes?”

Thakur further said that “No matter where Rahul Gandhi contests elections, his defeat is certain but to avoid defeat, Congress should not spread lies, fear and confusion. The confusion being spread by Congress about reservation and the Constitution is absolutely baseless and baseless. Wherever Congress forms the state government, it cuts the reservation of SC-ST and OBC and gives it to its vote bank.”

 Responding to the Supreme Court’s rebuke to the Bengal government for its request to become a party in the case of Sandeshkhali and Shahjahan Sheikh,  Anurag Thakur said, “This is the height of Mamata Banerjee’s appeasement politics. Mamata Banerjee, being a woman Chief Minister, is giving protection to such people who have committed heinous acts of atrocities against women, grabbing their lands and sexually assaulting them. This shows that the opposition is ready to stoop to any extent for vote bank. Same is the situation in Karnataka where the daughter of a Congress counselor is murdered in broad daylight but due to appeasement politics the government there does nothing.”
