Shimla: The Sanjauli Mosque dispute of Shimla hearing was held in the Municipal Corporation Commissioner’s Court today. Municipal Corporation Commissioner’s Court heard the arguments of all the parties on the matter and found that three floors of the Sanjauli Masjid are illegal and hence they will be demolished.

The Commissioner Court of the Corporation has ordered the demolition of the second, third, and fourth floors. Now the hearing will be held on December 21 regarding the remaining part. The court has ordered the demolition of the illegal part of the mosque in three floors. The court heard the matter for about two and a half hours and then issued its orders.

On the other hand, the mosque committee will have to demolish it itself and the Waqf Board’s lawyer BS Thakur said that the next decision will be taken after reading the entire order. In such a situation, it can be assumed that the board can approach the High Court.

In fact, an important hearing was held for the 46th time on Saturday in the Municipal Corporation Commissioner’s Court regarding illegal construction in the Sanjauli mosque. There was heated argument between both parties in the Municipal Court for about one and a half hours.
