Cops Deployed at Jantar Mantar Took Day Off to Support CJP Protest, Claims Abhijeet Dipke

New Delhi: Abhijeet Dipke has claimed that some police personnel deployed at Jantar Mantar took a day off from their duties and joined the protest organised by the Citizens for Justice and Peace (CJP).

Dipke said the police personnel, who were initially deployed to manage security during the demonstration, allegedly masked themselves and approached protesters to express their support and speak with them.

Police Personnel Allegedly Joined Protest

According to Dipke, the cops took leave from their official duties before participating in the protest. He claimed that they later returned to the site in a different appearance to interact with those taking part in the demonstration.

“Masked up, came to talk,” Dipke said while describing the alleged interaction with the police personnel.
