Counter Intelligence Ferozepur recovers 6 glock pistols, two accused arrested

Ferozepur:  In a breakthrough, the Counter Intelligence (CI) unit of Ferozepur arrested two accused and recovered six foreign-made Glock pistols (.30 bore), along with magazines and one mobile phone from their possession.

Inspector Baldev Singh said that the action was carried out as part of the ongoing campaign “Yudh Nashe Virudh” and “Gangster Par Vaar” being conducted against organised crime and illegal activities in Punjab.

He said the accused were arrested on Thursday, and six Glock pistols were recovered from them during the operation. The police are now taking the accused on remand to probe their backward and forward links and ascertain the source and intended recipients of the weapon consignment.

Officials said further investigation is underway, and more revelations are expected in the coming days
