Crackdown on terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir, 350 Special Operations Group (SOG) personnel deployed

Jammu and Kashmir: Intensifying the anti-terrorism operations in Jammu and Kashmir, approximately 350 Special Operations Group (SOG) personnel have been deployed in snowy areas, inaccessible hills, and dense forests. Their aim is to eliminate terrorists and their networks.

Special forces deployed in forests and mountains
These personnel are specially trained to conduct operations in difficult terrain and are engaged in locating terrorist hideouts.

7 new BSF battalions deployed to the border
To prevent infiltration, the Home Ministry has decided to deploy seven additional BSF battalions along the International Border (IB). Some battalions have already arrived, while the remaining will be deployed soon.

Specialized training in Andhra Pradesh
SOG personnel have undergone specialized training in Andhra Pradesh with Army and Greyhounds units, practicing jungle warfare, fighting in difficult conditions, and modern techniques.

Strict security measures to prevent infiltration
According to sources, security has been increased in view of infiltration attempts from Pakistan. The Army, paramilitary forces, and police are jointly conducting anti-terrorism operations.
