Jalandhar, Punjab: A dead body packed in a sack was found in an empty plot near village Wadala adjacent to Nakhaan Wale Bagh in Jalandhar. Blood was leaking from the sack and there was a foul smell. Police reached the spot and tried to identify the deceased person, but could not do so. After this, the police kept the body in the mortuary and started investigation from the angle of murder.
When the information of the body being found in the area was received, people from the vicinity gathered. The garbage pickers first saw the body. After this, people from the vicinity informed the police about it. The sack was tied from above after packing the body.

SHO Balveer Singh of Lambra police station of Jalandhar rural police said that he had received information that a body was packed in a sack and thrown near Wadala. After this, he reached the spot with the team. At present, the investigation of the case is going on. It seems to be a case of murder.
