Sonipat: Haryana renowned gangster Kala Jathedi’s mother Kamlesh committed suicide by swallowing poisonous substance under suspicious circumstances. Kala Jathedi’s mother was admitted to a nearby private hospital in critical condition, but she died during treatment.
After receiving the information, the police team rushed the spot and took the body in custody and kept it in the mortuary for post-mortem. The autopsy of the deceased will be conducted on Thursday.
Police has registered the case and start the investigating to find out the reasons for committing suicide. At present, gangster Kala Jathedi is lodged in Tihar Jail, who was recently married to Lady Don Anuradha. More than 30 cases of murder, ransom, extortion, attempt to murder are registered against him in Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan. Kala Jathedi was arrested on 30 July 2021 from Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh.
Kala Jathedi is close aide to Lawrence Bishnoi
Kala Jathedi is considered close aide to gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. He is a resident of Jathedi village in Sonipat district of Haryana. Before his arrest, the police had also placed a bounty of Rs 7 lakh on Sandeep alias Kala Jathedi.
Apart from the Special Cell of Delhi Police, the police of many states were looking for him. However, he was arrested by the Special Cell. During his abscondence, he was handling the Lawrence gang. This gang dominates four states including Delhi. Lawrence Bishnoi came into the limelight when in 2018 he threatened to kill Bollywood star Salman Khan.
