Two people from Amritsar died in terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir

A person from Punjab, who was seriously injured in the terrorist attack on Wednesday evening in Srinagar, the capital of Jammu and Kashmir, died on Thursday morning, taking the death toll to two. Official spokesperson said that Rohit, who was seriously injured in the attack in Shaheed Gunj, Srinagar, died at Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical.

Two workers, Amrit Pal (31) and Rohit Mashi (25), residents of Amritsar, Punjab, were attacked by unidentified terrorists last evening when they were going to their rented accommodation in Srinagar area. Amrit Pal died in the attack while Rohit was injured. The killing of non-locals in the Kashmir Valley has come at a time when the Central Government and the Lieutenant Governor’s administration are claiming restoration of normalcy in Jammu and Kashmir.
