Amritsar: Amritsar Rural police have busted contract killing gang that commits murders for money. The Rajasansi police station staff caught six members of the gang and recovered one 315-bore pistol, 2 toy pistols, 6 mobile phones, and a Zen Car.
SHO Harchand Singh of Rajasansi police station mentioned that the gang had recently killed a 17-year-old minor in Ajnala, who had married for love. After taking money, they kidnapped the youth and then killed him. The police solved the case and arrested the entire gang. All of them are professional criminals with multiple cases registered against them in various police stations.
In 2017, a case was registered against two members of the gang, Gagan and Karandeep, who were also wanted. Additionally, they were involved in a robbery incident in Ranjit Avenue, leading to another case registered against them in Amritsar city.
