Central Bureau Of Investigation (CBI) has been Arrested Jalandhar Regional Passport Officer Anup Singh and 3 other office employee. CBI team reached Jalandhar today morning and raid different locations of passport officer Anup Singh. After arresting CBI team has left for Chandigarh.
According to sources CBI officers has raid Jalandhar passport office and took record in his custody. Three CBI officers were searching in the office. However, no official statement has come out regarding this at present. CBI Arrested Anup Singh and 3 other employee from passport office and interrogate him regarding passport records.
25 Lakh Cash Seized
According to Sources have CBI officers have recovered cash and documents worth about Rs 25 lakh from the arrested officer and his two assistants. Sources Revealed that case is related to making more passports in less time by taking bribe. Sources have revealed that the raid was conducted not only at the passport office but also at Anup Singh’s house.
