A Nihang Singh attacked on a person with sharpen sword last night in New Satguru Nagar (Lohara) Ludhiana, Punjab with the help of his two other associates. After being hit by a sword on his head, he fell down and bleeding along with his turban .
After the Nihang Singh fled from the spot with his associates. The elderly man Arjun Singh injured in the attack was brought to the civil hospital in a bloody state. Where about a dozen stitches were put on his head. The elderly man got a medical examination done and complained about the matter to the police of outpost Kangwal.
Arjun Singh write in his complaint that, he works as a labourer. About 15 days ago, a Nihang Singh living in the area had borrowed Rs 500 from him, and when he asked for the money back, he was avoiding him for the last two days.
On Saturday, Angrez returned home from work. A Nihang Singh, who was already waiting in ambush at a short distance from his house, surrounded him along with his two other companions and started attacking him with swords. On hearing the noise, people of the area gathered and seeing them the attackers fled from the spot.
