Sources have said that the police had received information about Banwari. After which the police and STF team laid siege to Banwari. In Chapparchidi, the police asked Banwari to surrender. But Banwari opened fire to escape from the police. When the police opened fire in response, three bullets hit both the legs of Banwari.

After this the police arrested Banwari in injured condition. After the arrest, the gangster has been admitted to the civil hospital for treatment.
Information has been received from the hospital that three bullets have hit Banwari’s knees. Sources say that there are cases registered against Banwari for demanding extortion in Hoshiarpur.
