Cross-border smuggling network busted by Ferozepur Police, two accused arrested with weapons

Ferozepur Police have busted a cross-border arms smuggling network and arrested two accused, Gurpreet Singh alias Gori and Vikramjeet Singh alias Vicky.

Six Glock 9mm pistols, four magazines, and four live cartridges were recovered from the accused. Preliminary investigation revealed that the accused Vikramjeet Singh had direct links with a Pakistani smuggler involved in illegal arms smuggling. Acting on his information, police recovered two additional Glock pistols.

He also confessed to supplying weapons to local contacts on the instructions of his Pakistani handlers. His arrest also helped solve an earlier case involving the purchase of AK-47 rifles from the same cross-border network.

Technical analysis of seized digital devices is underway to expose the full supply chain, including foreign handlers and local collaborators.
