CRPF ADG Rajesh Kumar’s tenure extended by one year

Jammu & kashmir : The deputation tenure of IPS officer Rajesh Kumar, posted as Additional Director General (ADG) in the CRPF, has been extended for one year.

Cabinet Committee approves
This extension has been approved by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet. His tenure will now continue beyond March 18, 2026.

Decision on Home Ministry’s proposal
This decision was taken based on a proposal from the Home Ministry, which recommended extending his tenure.

Has held important responsibilities in Jammu and Kashmir
Rajesh Kumar was previously an IPS officer of the Jammu and Kashmir cadre and also served as Inspector General in the CRPF.

Extensive experience in the security services
He has also held important positions such as IG in the Special Security Group and IGP in Jammu.
