Delhi CM Kejriwal skips ED’s 7th summon; Matter is in Court, says AAP

New Delhi: Delhi CM and AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal will not go to ED today. Enforcement Directorate had issued 7th summon for Arvind Kejriwal in matter of Excise Policy case.

Aam Aadmi Party on Kejriwal skipping 7th summon has said that the matter is in the court and next hearing is on March 16.

AAP said that instead of sending summons daily, the ED should wait for the court’s decision.

AAP also added that they will not leave the INDIA alliance. Hitting at the union government, AAP said that Modi Government should not create pressure like this.

Last week, ED had issued summons to Kejriwal and asked him to appear before the financial probe agency on Monday.

On February 19, Kejriwal had skipped ED’s sixth summon in connection with the alleged excise policy scam.

The financial probe agency’s complaint alleged that Kejriwal intentionally did not want to obey the summons and kept on giving “lame excuses.”
