Delhi CM Rekha Gupta Visits Amritsar With Cabinet Ministers

Amritsar: Amritsar is set to be a hub of significant political and religious activity today. Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta arrived in Amritsar today with her cabinet ministers. This visit is considered highly significant both religiously and culturally, as Chief Minister Rekha Gupta will visit three of the city’s major and historic religious sites in a single day.

First Stop: Sri Harmandir Sahib

The Chief Minister’s entourage first arrived at Rajasansi Airport, where he was welcomed by administrative officials and local representatives. From the airport, the Chief Minister’s convoy proceeded directly to the world-famous Sri Harmandir Sahib. The Chief Minister bowed his head there and received blessings from the Gurudwara.

Second Stop: Shri Durgiana Tirtha

The Chief Minister’s next stop will be the Shri Durgiana Tirtha. This temple is deeply connected to Amritsar’s religious identity. She will offer prayers there and convey a message of respect for the city’s religious diversity and cultural unity.

Third Stop: Shri Valmiki Tirtha (Ramtirtha)

The third and final religious site on the tour is Shri Valmiki Tirtha, also known as Ramtirtha. This site holds special reverence due to its historical and mythological significance associated with the sage Valmiki and Mother Sita. Following the completion of all religious ceremonies, the Chief Minister’s delegation will depart for Delhi from Rajasansi Airport.
