Delhi: CM Rekha Gupta and Scindia inaugurate Nehru Place Post Office

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, alongside Union Minister for Communications and Development of the North Eastern Region Jyotiraditya Scindia, inaugurated the renovated Nehru Place Post Office, which is equipped with modern amenities. Meanwhile, Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya launched an initiative for free annual health check-ups for workers.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta stated that, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Department of Posts has evolved with technology to adapt itself to the modern era. This new post office will provide citizens with an enhanced experience of fast, simple, and modern services.

She further remarked that today, post offices are no longer limited merely to postal services; rather, they have emerged as powerful hubs for public service, offering a wide array of facilities such as parcel services, banking, insurance, Aadhaar services, and passports. Several dignitaries, including Minister of State for Communications and Rural Development Dr. Chandrashekhar Pemmasani and MLA Shikha Rai, were present at the event.
