2 devotees from Delhi died due to falling of stone, were going to Shri Krishna temple in Kinnaur

Heavy rains in Himachal Pradesh are causing damage to both life and property. On Saturday, two devotees from Delhi, who were going to the Julakanda Krishna temple in Kinnaur to celebrate Shri Krishna Janmashtami, died. While going to the temple on foot, a huge stone fell on both of them from the hill.

Deceased from Delhi

The deceased have been identified as 27-year-old Prashil Bagmare, a resident of Rama Bihar’s street number-4 in Delhi and 25-year-old Rashmi, a resident of Arjun Base, B-block, RZ-26A in Nawabgarh, Delhi.

Water released from Pong Dam

At the same time, water was released from Pong Dam in Kangra this morning, due to which the water level of the Beas river increased. Due to the fast flow, the soil was eroded, due to a large part of a luxurious house in Mand Bhogravan collapsed. On the other hand, the tower of the high-tension power line in Pandoh of Mandi collapsed due to a landslide.
