Delhi L-G Urges Khalsa Students to Lead in Digital Era

New Delhi: Vinai Kumar Saxena on Thursday urged students of Khalsa College to become agents of change in the digital era, emphasizing the transformative role young minds can play in shaping the country’s future.

Addressing students at the institution, the Lieutenant Governor said that today’s youth are at the forefront of technological advancement and must use digital tools responsibly and innovatively. He stressed that students should not merely be passive users of technology but active contributors who drive meaningful change in society.

Saxena highlighted that the digital era presents immense opportunities across sectors, from education and healthcare to governance and entrepreneurship. He encouraged students to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills, enabling them to harness technology for the greater good.

He also pointed out that with access to digital platforms comes the responsibility to use them ethically. Urging students to be mindful of misinformation and online risks, he said that informed and responsible digital citizens are key to building a stronger nation.

The Lieutenant Governor further called on students to take initiative in their respective fields and lead by example. He noted that educational institutions play a crucial role in nurturing future leaders who can adapt to rapid technological changes while staying grounded in values.
