Delhi University Admission 2026: Registration begins, college based on CUET score; Know all details

Delhi University has started the first phase of registration for admission to its various undergraduate programmes for the academic session 2026-27.

According to a notification issued by Delhi University, candidates who have appeared for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET (UG)-2026) and wish to seek admission in University of Delhi (UoD) colleges will have to register by visiting the Common Seat Allocation System 2026 (CSAS(UG)-2026) portal at ugadmission.uod.ac.in.

Delhi University has clarified that admission to 73 programmes offered in 67 colleges of the university and over 100 B.A. programmes will be based solely on the Common University Entrance Test UG 2026 score. Candidates can register on the CSAS portal using their Common University Entrance Test UG 2026 application number.

Registration fee to be paid on registration

Candidates will also have to pay a non-refundable registration fee on application.

1. The fee for UR/OBC-NCL/EWS categories is Rs. 250.

2. The fee for SC/ST/PWBD is Rs. 100.

What is the process?

In the second stage, candidates will be required to indicate their preferences for the programmes and colleges they wish to pursue. As part of the CSAS process, candidates’ CUET test papers will be matched with the subjects studied in Grade 12.

To determine programme-specific eligibility, only those CUET (UG)-2026 language or domain-specific papers in which the candidate has passed Grade 12 will be considered. Based on the subject match, the university will determine the candidate’s eligibility and calculate the total score for all.

Candidates will be required to indicate their preferences for the programmes for which they are found eligible. Before applying, candidates should carefully review the UG Bulletin of Information and CSAS UG 2026-27 Rules published on the website. They should be aware of the minimum eligibility criteria, programmes and seat allocation guidelines.
