Hyderabad: The AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi on Saturday equated both Aam Aadmi Party with Bharatiya Janata Party claiming both parties are ideologically aligned and linked to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.
Replying to a que from the reporters on Delhi elections Owaisi described BJP as a product of the RSS and referred to AAP as a “lab-grown” creation from its formative years.
He also said that there is no difference between (BJP and AAP). Both are ideologically alike. RSS is their mother.
“RSS created Jan Sangh and later BJP was formed in 1980. The other was grown in 2012-13 in a big institute and it is lab-grown.”
Ahead of the Delhi Assembly elections 2025, the battle between the AAP, BJP and Congress has become intense, with all three parties levelling allegations on each other.
Aam Aadmi Party has already announced candidates for all the 70 seats for the upcoming assembly polls.
The BJP released its first list of 29 candidates on Saturday with Parvesh Verma to contest from the New Delhi assembly seat against AAP’s Arvind Kejriwal.
Former Lok Sabha MP Parvesh Verma will contest against AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal and Congress’s Sandip Dixit from the New Delhi seat in a three-cornered contest.
Delhi elections are expected to be hld in Febuary this year for which dats have not been scheduled yet by ECI.
