New Delhi: The severe cold and fog across North India has also affected rail traffic. Due to cold wave and dense fog, about 22 trains reaching the country’s capital Delhi are late today. Among these are prominent, Rajdhani Express, Katra Express, Delhi Brahmaputra Mail etc.

Let us tell you that due to the severe cold and dense fog falling in many parts of the country including the entire North India, its impact on rail travel and air traffic is being seen. Due to the fog, the speed of vehicles on the roads has also slowed down.

Let us tell you that due to dense fog, train passengers are also facing a lot of problems. Many trains are running late due to low visibility. Giving information about this, Indian Railways has released the list of trains running late. Railways has informed that 22 trains are running late in Delhi region due to fog.

According to Deepak Kumar, Chief Public Relations Officer of Northern Railway, 22 trains will reach the capital Delhi today behind their scheduled time. He has advised passengers to check NTES or National Train Inquiry System before starting their journey from home.
