Deputy EC Bhanu Prakash Yeturu, Anindita Mitra, Varjeet Walia & Satinder Singh Offer Prayers at Devi Talab Mandir

Jalandhar: Deputy Election Commissioner Bhanu Prakash Yeturu, Punjab Chief Electoral Officer Anindita Mitra, Jalandhar Deputy Commissioner Varjeet Singh Walia, and Police Commissioner Satinder Singh visited the revered Devi Talab Mandir in Jalandhar on Tuesday and offered prayers at the sacred Tripurmalini Shakti Peeth.

During their visit, the dignitaries sought blessings at the historic temple, one of the prominent Shakti Peeths in the region. Temple authorities welcomed the delegation and briefed them about the religious and historical significance of the shrine.

The visit took place amid the Deputy Election Commissioner’s tour of Punjab, during which he has been reviewing election preparedness and administrative arrangements. Officials also interacted with the temple management and appreciated the arrangements made for devotees visiting the shrine.

Security personnel remained deployed in and around the temple premises to ensure smooth movement of visitors during the dignitaries’ visit.
