Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria Inaugurates Kar Seva at Jalandhar’s Devi Talab Temple

Jalandhar: The cleaning program of the Siddha Shaktipeeth Devi Talab Temple in Jalandhar began today. Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria inaugurated the program. The Hanuman Chalisa was recited beforehand.

Punjab Governor Gulabchand Kataria along with former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Sisodia, Jalandhar MP Charanjit Singh Channi and many other senior leaders reached the stage.

Previously, kar seva for the lake’s cleaning took place in 2003 and 2013. Members of the Shri Devi Talab Temple Management Committee and the Sant Samaj were also present today. This decision was made at a meeting of the Temple Management Committee chaired by the Sant Samaj.

Saint community will bless the congregation

General Secretary Rajesh Vij, Senior Vice President Lalit Gupta and Treasurer Pavinder Bahl said that Punjab Governor Gulabchand Kataria and many other prominent leaders arrived to participate in this Kar Seva.

The community of saints also made a special appearance and blessed the devotees. Preparations for the kar seva have been in full swing for the past several days. The Shri Devi Talab Temple Management Committee has pledged to ensure all possible assistance to the visiting devotees.
