Property and land-related services now available at home, 99% of records digital

Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann’s government has taken digital governance to new heights, making the Revenue Department transparent and corruption-free. The state’s two key initiatives—Easy Registry and Easy Jamabandi—have now become the new identity of Digital Punjab.

The Easy Registry service, launched in Mohali in May 2025, was implemented across the state by August. Through this service, any citizen can now register their property online from the comfort of their home. Payments are also made through the online gateway, and the entire process is completed within 48 hours. Citizens can also avail document collection services by calling the 1076 helpline.

Similarly, the Easy Jamabandi service, launched in June 2025, has provided significant relief to farmers and ordinary citizens. A free copy with a digital signature and QR code is now available within minutes through the easyjamabandi.punjab.gov.in portal or WhatsApp. The mutation process is also now completed within 30 days.

Land records in 99% of the state’s villages have been digitized. This facility is proving particularly useful for NRIs, senior citizens, and farmers.

According to the government, these services are saving the public over ₹100 crore annually. Chief Minister Mann said, “Digital transparency is true good governance.” Punjab has now emerged as a model of e-governance, where the culture of bribery and delays is a thing of the past.
