Bengaluru: The Karnataka Lokayukta (anti-corruption ombudsman) conducted raids at various locations across the state on Tuesday, targeting several government officials on charges of possessing assets disproportionate to their known sources of income.
Sources confirmed that during one of the raids, an official flushed approximately Rs 50,000 in cash down the toilet.
