Mumbai: Television superstar Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya was visibly emotional as she celebrated her 10th engagement anniversary with husband Vivek Dahiya. The actress shared a beautiful note on social media, explaining how bold it was for her to decide to get married after a short courtship. In a carousel post shared with photos from their engagement day, Divyanka wrote, “Happy 10th Engagement Anniversary mere Jaan! 10th ALREADY!!! It feels like just yesterday we decided to get married after only a few months of meeting.”

Describing the beginning of their relationship as a “#IYKYK” moment, Divyanka wrote that there was no overthinking, no grand promises, no extra conditions—just honesty between two people, trust in each other, and faith in destiny. She also said that she will always be glad that she didn’t waste time, as doing so would have cut short a few months of this beautiful phase of her life. Expressing gratitude to her families, she wrote that both families readily accepted her decision and were in sync with each other.

It’s worth noting that Divyanka and Vivek got engaged on January 15, 2016, and married on July 8 of the same year. The two met on the sets of the popular show “Yeh Hai Mohabbatein,” where Vivek played ACP Abhishek and Divyanka played Dr. Ishita. Divyanka started her career with “Banoo Main Teri Dulhan”, while Vivek appeared in shows like *”Yeh Hai Mohabbatein” and “Qayamat Ki Raat”. The couple also won the dance reality show “Nach Baliye 8″ in 2017. Additionally, Divyanka was the first runner-up in *”Khatron Ke Khiladi 11” and recently received critical acclaim for her performance in the web series “The Magic of Shiri”.
