Dubai, UAE: Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian has apologised to neighbouring countries for its attacks across the region, saying that they would not be targeted unless attacks originated from them.

The US and Israel are continuing to strike Iran and Lebanon, while Hezbollah fighters have reportedly clashed with Israeli troops on the Lebanon-Syria border. The exchanges have raised fears that the fighting could expand beyond its current fronts, drawing in more regional actors.

Disruption at Dubai Airport

Meanwhile, Dubai’s airport briefly suspended flights in and out after an apparent Iranian drone strike. Operations were halted for a short period as a precaution before flights gradually resumed.
