Akali Dal Leader Bikram Singh Majithia has been sent to 14-Day Judicial Custody by the Mohali Court in DA Case. Let us tell you that the four-day remand of senior Shiromani Akali Dal leader and former minister Bikram Singh Majithia, who has been arrested in the disproportionate assets case in Punjab, ended today (July 6). The Vigilance Bureau presented him in the Mohali Court. Troubles seem not to be disappearing for him as the court granted 14-day judicial custody to the vigilance.

Vigilance team takes Majithia to Gorakhpur

On the other hand, in connection with the investigation, the Vigilance Bureau team reached Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh yesterday with Majithia. Here, the Saraiya Distillery of Majithia family was investigated.

It has been learned that many important facts have come to light in the investigation, which require further investigation. On this basis, additional remand was sought from the court today.

Meanwhile, senior Akali Dal leader and advocate Arshdeep Singh Kler has warned Aam Aadmi Party ministers, representatives, and some media channels of legal action. Kaler said that those who spread fabricated and false stories against Majithia will have to answer in court. A video has also been shared on Majithia’s social media account in this regard.

Majithia arrested from his Amritsar residence

The Vigilance Bureau registered a case of disproportionate assets of Rs 540 crore related to drug money at 4:30 am on June 25. After this, raids were conducted at 26 places in the state at places related to Majithia. Then after 11:30 am, Majithia was arrested from his house in Amritsar.

During this, 29 mobile phones, 5 laptops, 3 iPads, 2 desktops, 8 diaries and other documents were claimed to be recovered. It was claimed that these were recovered from Majithia.
