The weather in the Guru city of Amritsar suddenly changed early this morning. Rain accompanied by strong winds began around 5 a.m., bringing pleasant weather to the city and a drop in temperatures. This rain brought significant relief to those suffering from the heat and humidity of the past few days.

The rain brought a cool feel throughout the city. The prolonged heat had been troubling people, but this changing weather brought smiles to their faces.

The rain has brought much cooler and pleasant weather to the city. The cool breeze and drizzle refreshed the atmosphere. Many people were seen enjoying the pleasant weather.

Weather Punjab 

The heat has already made people in Punjab and Chandigarh miserable in early March. The scorching sun is proving to be a disaster for them. However, the weather is expected to change from March 14th. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will remain dry today in the state, while some districts may experience partly cloudy skies.

During the last 24 hours, the maximum temperature in the state has dropped by 1.2 degrees, but despite this, the temperature remains 5.8 degrees above normal. The Bhakra Dam area recorded the highest temperature of 34.5 degrees Celsius.

According to the Meteorological Department, partly cloudy skies are expected in all districts of the state today. The weather may change between March 14th and March 16th. During this period, light rain and strong winds of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour are expected in various parts of the state. The weather is expected to become dry again on March 17.
