The raid by the Income Tax Department team on the Jodhamal Road house of senior Congress leader and former minister Sundar Sham Arora of Hoshiarpur ended at 12:15 am on the third day. The operation, which began at 6:30 am on January 28, continued for three days.
According to the information received, during this time, the Income Tax Department team was busy examining and questioning documents, while no one was allowed to enter or leave the residence.
According to sources, the team is questioning Arora about a company and various properties in Chandigarh and Mohali. The offices related to this company and the houses of persons associated with it have been raided earlier. During the investigation that has been going on for the past 62 hours, the team had extensive talks with Arora and collected detailed information on various issues.
At 12:15 pm, four vehicles entered Arora’s house, and after that the officials of the investigating agencies left the house. According to information, former minister Sundar Sham Arora is present at his residence.
