ED Conducts Major Cryptocurrency Raids in Kangra, Himachal Pradesh

Kangra: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted raids in Nagrota Bagwan in Kangra district this morning. The raid was carried out under tight CRPF security, creating an atmosphere of fear and panic in the area.

ED raids houses of Govind Goswami and a retired SDO

According to sources, ED teams are conducting raids at the houses of Govind Goswami and a retired SDO. Govind Goswami works as a pharmacist at Tanda Medical College, while the SDO is a retired employee of Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board (HPSEB).

Investigation into suspicious transactions and financial irregularities

According to reports, the operation is being carried out in connection with suspicious transactions and financial irregularities related to cryptocurrency. However, the ED has not issued any official statement yet. Various documents, electronic devices and financial records are being examined during the raid.

No one was allowed to go in or out during the operation. CRPF personnel remained deployed for security.
