ED Raids 44 Locations Across 9 States in Pearl Agro Case

New Delhi: The Directorate of Enforcement (ED) carried out search operations at 44 locations in Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Maharashtra, Telangana, Karnataka, West Bengal, Rajasthan, and Uttarakhand related to Pearl Agro Corporation Limited (PACL). The agency reported recovering and seizing various incriminating documents.

“On October 4, 2024, the ED’s Delhi Zonal office conducted searches under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002 targeting PACL and its group. Incriminating documents were recovered,” the ED announced on X on Saturday.

Earlier, the ED also launched raids in Kolkata, Punjab, Delhi, and Mumbai as part of investigations into a major chit-fund case linked to money laundering. Sources indicate that the agency targeted over two dozen locations during this operation.
