ED Raid at CA Firm in Rewari Sparks Concern Among Business Community

Haryana: On Friday morning, a team from the Enforcement Directorate (ED) raided the firm of a CA who handles the work of several companies and businessmen near Bhadawas Gate in Rewari. The team spent hours examining documents after locking the CA’s house from inside. The Income Tax team is also investigating records inside the house.

An ED team arrived at the home of a CA who runs a tax consulting firm around 6 a.m. The team arrived in two vehicles, accompanied by CISF personnel. After entering the house, the team locked the door from inside. Subsequently, they began examining the CA’s documents.

As soon as the news of the ED raid at the CA’s home became known, businesses were alarmed. However, it has not been revealed what the raid was about. It is being reported that the CA, who runs SKG Tax Consultant, handles tax-related matters for several large companies and firms. The Enforcement Directorate’s raid could also be related to a company’s tax-related matter with the CA.
