Ludhiana:
Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA), Ashok Parashar Pappi, and Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sawhney inspected the progress of the upcoming two Schools of Eminence (SOE) in Kidwai Nagar and Millerganj today.
Accompanied by senior officials from various departments, the MLA and DC mentioned that the SOEs will be equipped with smart classrooms, modern infrastructure, labs, CCTV surveillance, and playgrounds with facilities for various sports. The SOE in Kidwai Nagar is being built by Ludhiana Improvement Trust, while the second SOE is being constructed by the Public Works Department. The mission of the School of Eminence program aims to bring a revolution in the education sector for holistic development and a bright future for the students.
The MLA emphasized that the Punjab government is prioritizing the quality services in the education and health sectors. He added that the SOE is an ambitious program initiated by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, and urged officials to make sincere efforts to complete the pending works expeditiously.
The Deputy Commissioner pointed out that the building work in both schools is almost completed, with only a few pending tasks. She instructed officials from various departments to expedite the completion of SOEs. They took a detailed review of the ongoing works and provided necessary directions to the officials.
The inspection was also attended by SDM East Vikas Hira, DEO Dimple Madaan, and officials from LIT, MC, and PWD.
