Mumbai: Television producer Ekta Kapoor brought together several familiar faces from the Hindi television industry as she hosted friends and colleagues for Ganpati celebrations at her Mumbai residence on Monday.
Actress Anita Hassanandani, who attended the Ganesh poojan at Kapoor’s residence, shared a series of pictures from the gathering featuring Ekta Kapoor and several popular names from the television fraternity. The pictures showed the group posing together and celebrating the festival in an intimate setting.
Among those seen in Anita’s pictures were Urvashi Dholakia, Krystle D’Souza, Mushtaq Sheikh, Tanishaa Das Gupta, Vishal Singh and Ruchika Kapoor, along with Anita and Ekta.
Urvashi Dholakia, Anita Hassanandani Reunite At Ganpati Celebration
The gathering brought together two of television’s much-loved former onscreen antagonists — Urvashi Dholakia, who became synonymous with the iconic character Komolika in Kasautii Zindagii Kay, and Anita Hassanandani, who was loved for her portrayal of Shagun in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein.
Urvashi’s professional association with Ekta Kapoor goes back more than two decades, beginning with Kasautii Zindagii Kay.
Anita’s pictures also featured Vishal Singh, best known for playing Jigar Modi in the popular television show Saath Nibhaana Saathiya.
Anita Hassanandani’s Long Association With Ekta Kapoor
Anita, who has been closely associated with Ekta Kapoor, has been part of the producer’s television universe through shows including Kkavyanjali, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein and Naagin.
She shared the pictures from the Ganpati celebrations on her social media account, which Ekta later reshared on her own account.
Ekta Kapoor, Sidharth Malhotra Visit Lalbaugcha Raja
On Tuesday morning, Ekta Kapoor was seen visiting Mumbai’s iconic Lalbaugcha Raja pandal with actor Sidharth Malhotra to seek the blessings of Lord Ganesha.
Ekta and Sidharth are set to collaborate on their upcoming film Vvan, which also stars actress Tamannaah Bhatia.
