Elderly couple murdered in Haryana, bodies found in locked room

The bodies of an elderly couple, with their hands and feet bound, were found inside a house in a lane near the BDPO office in Asandh. The couple lived together in the house, while their younger son lived in a house nearby. When their grandson came to visit in the morning, he found them both dead. He immediately informed the police. A team from the Asandh police station arrived at the scene and notified the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team.

Investigation begins 

The FSL team arrived and collected evidence. The police took the bodies into custody and began an investigation. Preliminary investigations suggest the case is one of murder following a robbery. The police are investigating from all angles. The deceased have been identified as 80-year-old Harisingh and 75-year-old Leela.

According to local residents, Harisingh was a village headman (Nambardar). Upon receiving information about the incident, their grandson arrived at the scene and found both of them dead inside the room with their hands and feet tied. He immediately informed the police. The police took the bodies into custody and began their investigation.

The Asandh CIA and Asandh police station teams are investigating the case. Asandh Station House Officer Naseeb Singh stated that they received information about the death of the elderly couple. The matter is being investigated seriously. The post-mortem report will reveal the cause of death, whether it was murder or due to other reasons.
