Today, Karmjeet Anmol will file nomination from Star seat Faridkot. His star friends Binnu Dhillon and Gippy Garewal are also arriving with him. BJP Leader Subhash Sharma also file nomination from Sri Anandpur Sahib today. At the same time, the current MP and candidate of Congress from Fatehgarh Sahib, Dr. Amar Singh of Congress and Geja Ram Valmiki of Bharatiya Janata Party will file their nomination today. A public meeting and road show will also be organized by Geja Ram before the nomination. Where Union Minister Meenakshi Lekhi, Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Prem Chand Bairwa, Jagmohan Singh Raju and Lok Sabha constituency in-charge Pradeep Garg will also be present.

On Akshaya Tritiya filed 209 Nomination in Single Day

Last Monday on Akshaya Tritiya around 209 nominations were filed in Punjab in a single day. The highest number of nominations were filed on Monday in the entire nomination process. During this, Harsimrat Kaur Badal from Bathinda, Preneet Kaur from Patiala, Parampal Kaur from Bathinda also filed nominations. On the other hand, Vijay Inder Singla from Sri Anandpur Sahib, Punjab Congress President Amarinder Singh Raja Wading from Ludhiana, Gurjit Aujla from Amritsar and AAP minister Kuldeep Dhaliwal filed his nominations.

Scrutiny starts from 15th, withdrawal on 17th

Scrutiny for the seventh phase of elections will start from 15th May i.e. tomorrow Wednesday. This process will last for two days. After which candidates can withdraw their names on May 17th. On the same day, the list of final candidates will be released and independent candidates will be given election symbols.
