Encounter between police and gangster in Batala, member of Jaggu Bhagwanpuria gang arrested

Batala police have encountered another big gangster. This gangster named Manik was working for the Jaggu Bhagwanpuriya gang and is also being said to be the accused in the murder of Deep Cheema on November 2.

Let us tell you that two accused in the Deep Cheema murder case have already been arrested by the police, and three others have been identified by the police. Based on a tip-off, it was learned today that one of these three, a youth named Manik, is coming from village Kohlian towards Batala on a motorcycle.

The police tried to surround him by setting up a checkpoint at Said Mubarak near Batala, but he started firing indiscriminately at the police party, after which the police injured him in the return fire and arrested him.

Manik has been admitted to the government hospital in an injured condition.

Meanwhile, DIG Border Range Sandeep Goyal also reached the spot. He said that the injured gangster Manak Jaggu is in direct contact with Amrit Dalam and Keshav Shivala of the Bhagwanpuria gang, and on their instructions, they had murdered Deep Cheema.

He said that the murder of Deep Cheema is a part of the gang war, which is going on between Jaggu Bhagwanpuria’s gang and Ghanshampuria’s gang. Deep Cheema was a member of the Ghanshampuria gang.
