Mumbai: Actor Aamir Khan recently shared how he grappled with insecurity about his height early in his career. In a conversation with Nana Patekar during promotions for Vanvaas, Aamir admitted feeling self-doubt as a lead actor in the late ‘80s and early ‘90s.
Standing at 5 feet, 5 inches, Aamir revealed, “I feared people might not accept me because of my height. Insecurity crept in, but I later realized it doesn’t matter. What truly connects is honest work that resonates with fans.”
Reflecting on his journey, Aamir shared that initial fears like these fade with time as success redefines confidence. “It’s not about appearances but about the magic of your work,” he added.
Aamir’s last film, Laal Singh Chaddha (2022), didn’t fare well, but he’s set to return with Sitaare Zameen Par, a sequel to his beloved 2007 film Taare Zameen Par.
