Mumbai: A complaint has been filed against popular YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, social media influencer Apoorva Makhija, Samay Raina and the organizers of ‘India’s Got Latent’. A complaint has been filed regarding alleged obscene and controversial remarks passed by them in show ‘India’s Got Latent’.
The said complaint has been filed by the Maharashtra Women’s Commission for alleged usage of abusive and vulgar language.
According to news agency ANI, ‘A complaint has been filed against YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, social media influencer Apoorva Makhija, comedian Samay Raina and the organizers of the show ‘India’s Got Latent’. A complaint has been filed with the Mumbai Commissioner and Maharashtra Women’s Commission for allegedly using abusive language in the show and the letter has demanded strict action against the accused’.

On the controversy over YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia’s remarks on a show, Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis also raised objection and added that action will be taken if violation of rules is found. He said, “I have come to know about it. I have not seen it yet. Things have been said and presented in a wrong way. Everyone has freedom of speech but our freedom ends when we encroach upon the freedom of others… In our society, we have made some rules, if someone violates them it is absolutely wrong and action should be taken against them.”
Recently during the show, Ranveer Allahabadia, ‘Beer Biceps Podcaster’ asked a contestant a question related to the personal life of his parents and made an obscene comment. As soon as this video surfaced, people got angry and a wave of protest arose against him. who has hosted many Indian politicians on his podcast in the past.
