Mumbai: After being in a long-time relationship with Zaheer Iqbal for over two years, the rumors about Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal’s relationship are that the duo has confirmed a registered wedding on June 23, followed by just a party. The destination finalized for the party is Shilpa Shetty’s ‘Bastian’ Restaurant, which is one of the most luxurious restaurants in Mumbai. Many more photos and information were found on various social media platforms relating to both. The topic of their wedding has been trending on the media discussion list since June 10.
According to a report, the couple has kept their romance fairly low-key, but their frequent outings and adorable social media posts reveal all the feels. Word on the street is that Zaheer and Sonakshi first clicked at a bash hosted by none other than Bollywood’s Bhaijaan Salman Khan. A picture of Sonakshi riding on a bike went viral on social media. She could be seen riding a Royal Enfield bike in it. After this, they made an appearance together at the wedding reception party of filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s niece, Heeramandi star Sharmin Segal.
Recently, during an episode of the great Indian ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’, which featured the ladies of Heeramandi as guests, Kapil Sharma asked Sonakshi about her wedding. With reference to Alia Bhatt and Kiara Advani having recently tied the knot, Sonakshi Sinha jokingly said, “Jale par namak chhidak rahe ho,” adding that she badly wants to get married.
Sonakshi’s friend said in an interview about her wedding, “I had received the wedding invitation to celebrate with the couple on June 23, but there’s no mention of the actual wedding. From what I know, they have undergone a registered marriage, or may do so on the morning of June 23. But there’s not going to be elaborate weddings as such, just a party.”
On their wedding note, the wedding invitation has been extended to close friends, family, and also the entire cast of her last screen outing, Heeramandi. The guests are requested to dress to the nines for the big event at Bastian in Mumbai. The guest list includes Sinha’s co-stars in Heeramandi. Sonakshi’s father, Shatrugan Sinha, has also blessed the couple. The celebrations would be at the south Mumbai eatery, Bastian’.
The restaurant is situated on the top floor of the Kohinoor Tower, through which the city’s skyline can be seen at a 360-degree angle. It accommodates a seating capacity of 450 and also has a café accompanied by a pool. A celebration at the destination would be on June 22 as well. The wedding will take place on the morning of June 23, followed by the reception at night.
