Mumbai: Arjun Kapoor has embraced fitness, sharing a glimpse of his “Wednesday workout” on Instagram. In a mirror selfie, he appears shirtless on a treadmill, dressed in sweatpants and sneakers, captioning the post, “Wednesday Workout Done! 20 Nov 2024.”
On the professional side, Arjun is enjoying the success of his latest film, “Singham Again,” where he compares his character, Danger Lanka, to his debut role of Parma Chauhan from the 2012 movie “Ishaqzaade.” This film, which offers a fresh take on the Ramayana, features a star-studded cast, including Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, and Jackie Shroff. It marks the fifth installment in Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe franchise.
Upon its release, director Rohit Shetty celebrated that “Singham Again” became his 10th film to cross the ₹100 crore mark, achieving this milestone faster than any of his previous works. He expressed gratitude for the audience’s support, stating, “For the past 16 films, one thing that has remained constant is your love, thank you for all the support and love, humbled.”
Before this success, Arjun starred in “The Lady Killer,” a crime thriller released in 2023 that was poorly received, grossing only ₹38,000 on its opening day and selling just 293 tickets nationwide, marking it as one of the biggest box office failures in Indian cinema.
