Bengaluru: With the release of ‘Jigra’ set for October 11, Alia Bhatt has been actively promoting the film. She made a surprise appearance at DJ Alan Walker’s Sunburn show in Bengaluru on Friday night, delighting fans. In several videos and photos circulating online, Alia is seen interacting with the audience in Kannada. She looked stunning in an off-shoulder blue top paired with a matching skirt and even took time to pose for pictures with fans backstage.

As for ‘Jigra’, the film is directed by Vasan Bala and stars Vedang Raina alongside Alia. Recently, the makers unveiled an action-packed trailer, where Alia portrays Satya, a devoted sister on a mission to save her brother Ankur, played by Vedang Raina. The trailer highlights Satya’s resilience, featuring a powerful moment where she asserts, “Maine kabhi nhi kaha, main sahi insaan hu. Main sirf, Ankur ki behen hu.”

This film marks Vedang Raina’s second on-screen appearance, following his debut in ‘The Archies’ last year. ‘Jigra’ boasts an engaging soundtrack, including the hit song ‘Chal Kudiye,’ which reunites Alia with Diljit Dosanjh, along with a reimagined version of the classic ‘Phoolon Ka Taaro Ka,’ showcasing Vedang’s vocal abilities.

Vasan Bala, who previously directed films like ‘Monica O My Darling,’ ‘Peddlers,’ and ‘Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota,’ is at the helm of this project. ‘Jigra’ is produced by Dharma Productions and is presented by Viacom18 Studios and Eternal Sunshine Productions, with the screenplay co-written by Debashish Irengbam and Vasan Bala.
