Mumbai: These days, Lilliput is highly trending in media discussions due to his upcoming web series ‘Mirzapur’. He has played the ambitious role of Devdatt Tyagi, aka Dadda, in the series. The role has also impacted his fan following in a positive way.
In an interview, Lilliput was asked about the shooting location of ‘Mirzapur’. He said, “It has been 2 years since we completed the shooting of the web series. The shooting was done in Jogeshwari, situated in Mumbai, and Lucknow, in Uttar Pradesh.
He talked about his experience working with Pankaj Tripathi. He said, “He is very cooperative, so I felt comfortable while working with him. I was in a scene with him, and I was stuck in character delivery. It took time, but Pankaj never gave any negative reaction to that.”
About the impact of Mirzapur on his career, he said, “There were a large number of audiences who liked the series. Now it’s difficult to walk in public places because, at every point, people come to click photos and give support. It’s the highest earning in life, according to me. There was not any big change in my career because I did not get a response from the industry. Big production houses are not offering, but small production houses and new production houses are. Fan following has increased but the response from industry is not good.”
