Nalagarh SDM Rajkumar confirmed this and said that the artists selected by the committee in the Red Cross fair have been invited to the program.

Nalagarh: Famous Punjabi singer Ranjit Bawa’s program in Himachal’s Red Cross fair has been canceled. Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal were continuously opposing it. They said that Bawa had hurt the sentiments of Hindus with his song. They said that those who pass comments on Lord Shiva, Janeu and Gau Mata, will not be allowed to do programs.

This Red Cross fair has started today (13 December) and it will run till 15 December in Nalagarh of Solan district. Now new singer Kulwinder Billa has been invited in place of Bawa. Nalagarh SDM Rajkumar confirmed this and said that the artists selected by the committee in the Red Cross fair have been invited to the program.

According to Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Ranjit Bawa had released a Punjabi song ‘Mera Ki Kasoor’. In the song indecent comments were made against Hindu deities. When Bawa came to know about being invited to the Red Cross fair, he got angry. He sent a demand letter to the Deputy Commissioner through SDM. In which he said that some other singer should be invited in place of Bawa. If Bawa comes to the fair, he will protest against it.
