Hindustani Bhau files case against Farah Khan over ‘Holi a festival of Chhapris’ comment

Vikas’s lawyer Advocate Ali Kashif Khan Deshmukh says that by calling the festival of Holi a ‘Chhapri’ festival, Farah has insulted the religious sentiments of Hindus. The complaint states that on February 20, 2025, in the popular show ‘Celebrity Masterchef’, the accused called Holi a festival of ‘Chhapris’. The word Chhapri is usually used with derogatory words.

What is the whole matter

Actually, this entire controversy started from an episode of the show ‘Celebrity Masterchef’. Farah is the judge of this show. In one episode of the show, she commented on Holi. She said that Holi is the favorite festival of all Chhapri boys.

This video of Farah went viral on social media, after which she is being heavily criticized. Some people are demanding an apology from her, while some are demanding action against her. Some users even tagged Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and demanded action.
