Kangana Ranaut’s film Emergency is going to be released on January 17. The actress has told that she had to face a lot of difficulties in making this film based on a political issue. Because of this, she will never make political films in the future.
Kangana told in an interview to News 18 Showsha that I will never make a political film now. I am not very inspired by it. Now I have come to understand in time why many people do not do this, especially on real life characters. Having said this, I think Anupam Kher ji did a great job in The Accidental Prime Minister as Manmohan Singh. This is one of his best performances. But if you ask me, I will never make it again.
Kangana said- I never lost my temper on the set of this film. If you are a producer, who will you lose your temper on? As a director, one can fight with the producer. But if you are playing both the roles, who can you fight with? I wanted to say loudly that I want more money and I am not happy. But What would I say to whom?
Kangana said- I was struggling to make this film
The actress said- We were shooting during Covid. I had an international crew. They are very strict. They want payment by the end of every week. Even when there was no shooting, they had to be paid because they were associated with my film. Then there was a flood in Assam. I had other issues too that I was dealing with. I was struggling to make this film. I felt very helpless.
Sikhs had objected to some scenes of the old trailer
Kangana shared the new trailer of the film on social media X on January 6. All the scenes showing Jarnail Singh Bhindranwala and Sikhs as Khalistani and wrongly have been removed from the new trailer. Earlier, the trailer of the film Emergency was released on 14 August 2024. In which Sikhs were shown firing bullets. Sikhs alleged that an attempt has been made to show them as terrorists in it.

Apart from Faridkot independent MP Sarabjit Singh, the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC), the supreme body of Sikhs, had objected to the scenes in the trailer released on 14 August 2024.
