Mumbai: Kriti Sanon recently expressed her regret for not being able to wish Shahid Kapoor a happy birthday due to being in a “no network” zone. She shared her feelings on Instagram, reminiscing about their fun times together while promoting their film “Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya,” which was released in 2024. In her post, she wrote, “Sorry for the delayed Insta wish, my favorite @shahidkapoor! Happiest Birthday Shahid! I miss our crazy crack time together! Hahaha… Have the best year ahead, SK!”
Kriti and Shahid starred in the science fiction romantic comedy directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah, which tells the story of a robotics engineer who falls in love with an intelligent female robot, mistaking her for a real woman in Los Angeles. After a heartbreak, he returns to India and decides to marry her.
Looking ahead, Kriti will appear alongside Dhanush in Anand L Rai’s “Teri Ishk Mein,” set to release in theaters on November 28 in both Hindi and Tamil. Meanwhile, Shahid is gearing up for “Ashwatthama: The Saga Continues,” directed by Sachin B. Ravi, and has another project titled “Arjun Ustara” directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, featuring a stellar cast including Triptii Dimri and Randeep Hooda. Shahid described “Arjun Ustara” as a gangster film set in the 90s, emphasizing its core as a love story filled with action, aimed at appealing to a broad audience.
